As Christians we don’t expect to be immune from mental illness and we want to love people in the midst of it. Our strength is knowing Jesus, and loving people by meeting them where they’re at. As we come face to face with mental illness we can do that, and be helpful, and point each other people to Jesus in whatever circumstances we face. So this booklet tackles how we think about people who have mental illness - ourselves or others - and how we love them.

We’ve put together a resource for thinking about mental health. We planned this before the recent COVID-19 isolation, but with the consequences of that and other events we realise it’s a really important time to get the word out.

This is an introduction, and we’ve pulled together some helpful information from organisations that specialise in treating mental illness, and supporting those caring for those who have it.

And if it raises issues for you you’d like help with, please feel free to contact us or one of the organisations listed in the booklet.
